Thanks for your reply. I also own a bx2200 for which I have a Woods tiller (32"). I use it in my garden and it works really well now that I've hauled rock out for several years. The fields I intend to work are rocky so I'm apprehensive about using a tiller. My neighbor had planted this section for several years using plow & harrow, but his equipment is much larger than mine.

I have an opportunity to purchase a John Deere 246 2 row planter to use in planting corn and sorghum in wildlife food plots. Can anyone share experience with this planter with me or give me some tips on using it? Thanks!
