My mom has a Belarus 250 that has trouble starting under certain conditions. If she uses the tractor for about 45 minutes it will quit and won't start for about 24 hours. She thinks she hears clicking (solenoid), but it won't turn over. After 24 hours it will start fine. If she stops the tractor before it dies on it's own and allows it to cool for 30 minutes it will start just fine. She can do this all day. Any ideas as to what the cause is?

I just bought a 2210 and its a great tractor, but it has excessive geartrain noise when in four wheel drive at high speed. If I go slow, its not so bad, but when I speed up it gets pretty noisy. It is only in four wheel drive. Has anyone heard of this or know what the problem is.<br>

Curious if anyone knows what price should be on a 1999 JD 5210 MFWD with 320 hours.<br>
options include Curtis Cab, 540 loader, 7 foot loftness blower, Brand new Rhino Post hole, 613 BushHog, and JD 65 backblade. any thoughts on this package would be appreciated.

Thanks for all the responce's to my last post (Yanmar 155D). I think the loader control valves are not functioning properly. They are starting to stick. If I am going to replace them I would like to replace them with a joystick valve, however I have not found one small enough. All of the valves I's seen so-fa are large 25 gpm valves. Does anyone know of a company making smaller 12 gpm valves?
I would appreciate any help.

Also on the left side of the seat, looking front to back, there is a valve. It is marked "Faster" "Slower" What does this valve do. It is not the 3 pt regulator valve, which is located under the seat.

SOB, I drive green and IMHO color doesn't matter much. I would buy as much tractor as you can afford. Try all of the colors and buy the one you feel comfortable operating. Lastly, buy from a reputable dealer that makes you feel confident and comfortable.

I have a JD420 loader and would like to buy a spare heavy duty 60" bucket to use with some bolt on tines. I checked with my JD dealer and was AMAZED at the price (over $600.00). Anyone out there know of an aftermarket bucket that is available for less cash? By the way...I don't mind having to paint it green myself....

I also received the letter. I was impressed that they bothered to take the time to inform me about a potential safety hazard and equally unimpressed (if not slightly amused) that they figured I would like to implement the fix by myself. If its their safety hazard, and it fails and injures or maims someone, then I figure they should be the liable party...not me...for installing their fix improperly. I was also troubled by the fact that they didn't even mention or imply that the dealer (any dealer) would graciously implement the fix free of charge...regardless of whether or not the equipment was still under warranty. It IS a safety problem with THEIR design...not my operation. I must confess, I'm relatively new to the tractoring world (about 35 hours) but I still can't believe that this is the way things are handled by the tractor owners and manufacturers.

As usual, you guys have been a lot of help. I replaced the stem and went on with my work. I figured maybe I would try to find some hub caps that would fit the rims before taking the tire down and welding on a piece of pipe....anyone know of a set of caps that might fit?

thanx to everyone for the posts. it appears in have a problem with the hydo pedals. maybe a mechanical linkage adjustment. dealer is coming out tomorrow to fix. by the way...the entire system can be defeated by jumping the starter.

HELP...please<br>I have a 4300HST/FWF. I was doing some work with the FEL and all was going fine. I stopped, got off to throw a couple loose branches in the bucket and the tractor died. PTO was NOT engaged. I changed no settings of anything and attempted to restart the tractor..DEAD...just the click of the fuel shut off solenoid. Don't want to wait until Tuesday for JD to open...any suggestions on a possible repair. Fuses and relays appear fine and all wires appear to be connected.

I also have a 4300 with a 420 FEL, I've been experiencing the same hydraulic cycling noise and my front end loader will not maintain position if I let loose of the joystick. Looks like the fluid levels are fine..........help??
