I don't know what you mean when you say a category 1-2, what is that? What model Rankin did you have? All the Rankin's I'm looking at on the website say they are all cat 1. Also, please excuse my ignorance here, but is the blade itself the "moldboard?" According to Rankin's website, the moldboard is 14" high, does that sound acceptable? In looking at other manufacturer's rear blades, I am surprised at how heavy the Rankin blades are, maybe the website has some misprints in it ut 260 lb for a 5' blade is quite heavy bases on comparisons.

I wish I could help you but I haven't taken delivery of my BX yet, as soon as I do I can tell you what size they are thouhg. Sorry I couldn't help.

I am debating on wether or not to buy the bagger for my BX 1500 with a 48" deck. I do not plan to rake the yard after I am done mowing, not exactly the time saver I was looking for, but I don't want to spend over $1,000 on a bagger system. How is the MMM doing on your tractor? Do you have a bagger and so recommend one or do you think the grass clippings are small enough to warrant not buying the bagger and feel safe not raking the clippings? Thanks for any input. <br>

Hi, I am looking to buy a BX1500 with an MMM and probably an FEL as well. I live in Alaska and I'm thinking og buying the tractor from Washington and having it shipped to Alaska but I'm looking for opinions on prices from the Washington dealerships as well as good and bad experiences with them. "Sound Tractor" and Issaquah are two dealers I have come across so far though I haven't spoken to any one at Issaquah. Thanks for any input.

Hi, I've been looking at a lot of posts here and was hoping some of you might be able to help me out. I live in Alaska and am shopping the Washington state are, specifically Seattle "area" for a Kubota dealer with a good reputation and reasonable prices. I am looking at buying a bx1500 with an FEL and MMM. What kind of mowing experiences are any of you having with the MMM on this tractor? How is the FEL on this tractor and how does it interfer with the MMM and vice versa. Thanks for any input!
