You will need bushings to up-size the pins and the hitch "level range" will be a bit smaller unless you can increase the height on the implement, but it should work. ....

The Category 2 to category 1 reducer bushings for the lift arms and top link are about $1.00 each. So for about $3.00 you can convert it. They are available at almost any tractor dealer or Tractor Supply Co. ....

Thanks, The reason I asked is that I'm going to be trading my 790 in on a 5105 an it has a cat 2 hitch and I wasn't sure if my box blade and cutter were going to fit ....

The 790 has been a good machine,but a bit to small for working hay. The 5105 should fit the bill a little better. been shoppin around and 24500 is the best deal I can find,that's the tractor rear weights 1 rear scv and a 520 loader. ....

Is that a 2WD? I remember when I started looking at 4WD tractors about 5 years ago that a used JD 5000 series 4WD with FEL was $20K then. ....
