I recently purchased a John Deere GT225 with a 42" deck with mulching blades. For some reason it clumps the grass clippings naer the center of the cut path. I have leveled and pitched the deck to specs and have tryed mowing slower and or higher with no success. The only way I have found that works is to raise the deck 1" higher after I have mowed and go over the entire lawn again. Not good!! Anyone have the answer.

Often when overwhelmed the rear discharge or mulcher decks leave a small windrow behind each blade width of the deck. ....
