I have been given a 1990 L4150DT with a BF900 FEL, the only problem is that the unit had a fire under the dash which in turn burnt the power steering hoses which in turn burnt the entire front end on the unit. It got hot enough to melt the intake and the rocker arm cover. Anyone have any idea how much internal damage I can expect or is it not worth fixing?

You should be OK......replace all the external damage like belts, hoses, wires and other flamable stuff that got toasted. Internally, I can't think of anthing that would be damaged. ....

I think I'd price the obvious things that need replacement to get a sense of whether repair is desirable. All electrical components including the alternator and starter may be toast. It wouldn't take too many parts before the salvage value of the tractor plus repair part costs would be more than enough to get a similar tractor and that's if you do the repair.
There'd be a risk to repairing it depending on how hot the engine block got. Overheated engines can warp and crack and they tend to blow head-gaskets or worse. It might be good to inspect the block and head for damage before throwing much parts money at it. Engine accessories like pumps also would be suspect ....
