I am considering a purchasing a 3PH forklift. I intend to move few pallets, but also barrels, trees, and other things too heavy to easily set in a trailer. If you have experience with a rear forklift, what's your opinion of these? What is a good brand? What price is reasonable? Thanks in advance for your advice.

As a landscaper I have used 3pth fork-lift attachments for years (for trees, pavers, etc.) they are VERY handy, especially with a loader. If you have not already bought, look for a used one, dealers who specialize in 'compacts' is the best starting place, if you don't need a "fork-lift's" reach, look into pallet forks, Kubota make a set, they have only the 3pth lift and are MUCH cheaper, they have just enough lift to get into and out of a pickup only. However, from experience, use a hydraulic cylinder as the top link of the 3pth, otherwise the forks will not stay level as you lift. Best of luck. ....
