Just in case anyone else is having this problem.

I have a JD 4610 with eHydro. Ever since I can remember it's had a funny sound when first started up. It's hard to describe this sound but I'd say it's between a squeal and a whistle.

Anyway... I had it to the dealer for some last minute warranty work (goes out in June) and told them to check it out. Seems JD has a PIP on this noise problem. They changed a poppet valve and it's as quite as can be.
