New Filter Feature on Message Threads

I have noticed on our longer message threads that it is hard to review a conversation that you are having with essentially one person at a time because of the paging you have to do and all the other messages mixed in.

To help remedy this I have added a new feature that allows you to click on "Filter By" next to the userid of the message post. This will return a single page with all the messages by that individual.

If there is no "Filter By" option then that is the only message by that userid. If a user has more than one post to a thread I display the number of messages next to the "Filter By" link.

This sounds like another good feature Dennis. It should help to minimize paging requirements and thus improve dial-up performance.

I have made another change to this so that:

If you are a registered user the filter will show your posts if any and the all the messages of the user you are filtering by all at once rather than paging.

I have found this pretty helpful when I am trying to see if a question asked was answered.

That is why I had come to general, to find out what the filter thing was all about. Also thanks for running such a great service as this board, I have probably save myself a few hundred bucks or more by signing up. I should say your members have saved me that money with all theyr'e information they have gave me.
