Well, I just blew another 8" off 9 driveways. This is the 16th blow session for the winter. We're up to 116" for the winter so far.
I took the chains off thinking spring was getting ready to sprung but..alas..no such luck. No chains made a very minor difference in traction. The R1's do just fine, even on a 15% grade on compacted snow. The chains made a minor noticeable difference on glare ice but don't think I'll put them on next season.
Oh..I washed her afterwards and even sprayed the tires with tire cleaner. I wonder if they make raised letter tires....

119" and still fun. That's a pretty good recommendation for the tractor--and operator too.
We're down to the last 1'+ snow and with bare ground showing along ravine bank tops. Winter birds are leaving back for the tundra and summer birds are arriving. Black birds are holding huge songfests in the pines and the crows Merlin are screaming away--hard to hear yourself.
My Beavering away at runoff management is all done and the ground has turned to mud. The snowshoes are packed away but you can't walk in the woods. When you can walk you have do do a bunch of it before the bugs show up. Must be spring here. Maybe more snow blowing would be fun. Well, would I be having fun in the city--no definitely not? ....

Well here in the south we are 0" for the year. I saw a few flakes but nothing stayed so in my mind it was a goose egg. It has been in the 70's and 80's the last weeks. Cool today but back up to the 70's tomorrow.

CHUCKLE,I REMEMBER AT ONE TIME A WELL KNOWN CATOLOG SUPPLIER SOLD SELF VULCANIZING RUBBER ALPHABET/NUMBER STICKER SETS.
USED THEM ONE TO SPELL SOME SLANG ON MY ROAD RUNNER SLICKS AT THE TRACK. ....

I presume if you used Mark's idea of using light truck radials on the tractor you could easily spec. a set with raised white letters.
Or just use a white tire marking crayon to highlight the letters that you already have.

Jazaks..kwel idea. We have summer soltice lawnmower races here and THIS year I'm gonna win. My old Craftsman got blown off by a couple of other ones that had by-passed the governors and upped the gear ratios. I was considering nitrous before getting the 2210. I'm sure the Kohler would have chucked a jug or 2.
I believe the Deere outclasses everyone else here since it's the only CUT and everyone else is running riding mowers...heh, heh. ....
