Can anyone help? I'm looking at a JD 855 4WD, with 70A loader, 225 hours, excellent condition, stored indoors, homeowner used only. Includes 60" belly mower, 4' york rake, 6' back blade. $14,500. 1) is this a reasonable price, 2) would a new 4200 be a better buy?

Mike, I recently bought a JD 755 with a 60" belly mower, 52 loader, 5' scrape blade, and it had about 460 hrs. It is 4WD and I love it. I paid $12,000. So, yes it sounds like a reasonable price, and as far as the 4200, it would be a very nice tractor to have but you're going to pay quite a bit more to have it equiped the same as the 855 you've found. ....
