I was wondering if you were to hypothetically change the fuel injecters out of a 4310 and put ones from a 4410 in would this give you the 35 horse power of a 4410 or would you also need to change the injection pump? Or is there still more? Maybe something air related? I would not do any of this anyways just wondering if it would work. Thanks.

The 4410 has a 101 cu-in engine, the 4310 92 cu-in, according to the Deere website. I don't think you'll get the same power from less cubic inches unless you do something really radical.

There are more differences between the 4310 and 4410 than just the fuel system. The 4310 is 1.496 liters and the 4410 is 1.642 liters due to the 4 mm larger bore on the 4410. ....

The dealer literature on the original 4300 nd 4400 specs showed a larger displacement engine on the 4400, then the ten series specs on their their website showed them as being identical, now I notice they show the 4310 and the 4410 as being different displacment plus a different engine code number, so I've assumed there was a printing error rather than a different engine. ....
