After asking lots of questions and with the very valuable
advice of many of you members i had chosen to buy a 6ft
box blade and hyd top link for my 4410 ehydro I had decided
to buy the king kutter as its cheap should do the job well
and is what shoud be the right size 5 1/2-6ft wide .
This plan was set in stone till I went to pick it up.
the last one on the lot was scuffed up faded out and no discount was offered and no new ones were to be ordered till
the last one was sold,bad plan!!
This set me back to shopping I looked at bush hog blades
they are heavier have all kinds of options but are quite
a bit higher. then the dealer showed me a roll over blade
I could see imediatly this was the ticket. forget the the
hyd top link ( I hope)and retracting scarifers or swinging
back blade and not really to expensive
I ordered a 65 inch wide 700lb RO650 bushhog for 1125.00
delivered and set up he wouldhave knocked off another
100.00 if I gave him 60 days to get it in with his regular
order of equipment. I should have it 2 weeks Ill get
pictures and let everybody know how it works

I will be interested to know how it works, although I don't see how the rollover feature negates the advantages of a hydraulic top link ....

A rollover box will save a lot of time, which may be important if you use it a lot. As you probably know by now, the main advantage is that you don't have to turn the tractor around to work back along a grade. Just flip the box, but be careful not to hit anything when going backwards. 3ph's are much stronger pulling than they are pushing.
The rollover feature may less useful when building crowns on. If you work one side going foreword and the other side of the crown in reverse then the tilt would have to be changed. It'd be very handy for working wider grades though.
I don't know if the roll over mechanism simply flips the box hydraulically, which then locks into place or if it can be stopped and held in place between positions. In the later case it might change the cutter angle and might be a substitute for a hydraulic top-link. The main advantage of a top-like to me is the ability to change the blade angle on the fly to switch from cut to drag to spread without stopping. I don't know if a rollover w/o top-link will do that.
