I was using my CK20(gear Drive) to do some bush hogging with a 5'cutter. I was handling it well. I did notice however that there was a fairly loud clicking sound when I pushed the clutch in to go from forward to reverse. It was definately related to the inertia of the hog spinning my PTO shaft. I'm thinking that it is a built in over ride or "ratchet" to keep from pushing my tractor forward like my old farmall did. Can anyone verify that?

I can't say for sure, I'm not real familiar with the CK models but I would say you are right.
Some sort of internal over running clutch so the mower does not push the tractor .

The bush hog is an older model (about 20% original paint), but I think it called a Taylor Way? The price was right, it was given to me. It's pretty big and heavy but the CK had no problem picking it up or running it. I didn't go over any real big stuff maybe 3/4" on down, but it didn't seem to strain the engine at all. ....
