UNUSUAL KUBOTA COMBINATION

While driving the highway today, I saw a Kubota L2450 and 3 point snowblower being hauled on a flatbed. No, I didn't think that a snowstorm was on the way, but noticed that the Kubota snowblower had its own engine instead of being hooked to the pto.What gives? Doesn't the tractor have enough power to run a 4-5 foot blower or is the reverse travel speed too fast.Even my 15 horsepower Mitsubishi will handle a 4' blower on the 3 point.
