YES, but would need to know if the blade is attached to the loader or do you have the proper subframe for the tractor. If it is assembled that way then you are closer on values. ....

Provided this is a 4300 4WD Hydro. That is not a bad deal. The tractor is worth around $15,000. Add in all the other stuff and that is still not a bad deal. Before you buy, you may want to get the tractor serial # and run it for any applicable PIP's on the John Deere Web site. ....

Chief, you might know for sure, but one that year definitly would have the good front axle not the original issue they tried to get everyone to put up with, correct? They sell the new 4310's for about that price here. After all retail on the tractor was only 17900. Loan value by one of our guides is, 9800 by one book on the other it shows 10450 for low and 11,800 for high. loader is worth about 1500. ....

I was thinking the same thing about the axle, that is why I suggested running the serial # for PIP's. I was thinking about $1500 for the loader, $350 for the push blade,$150 forks, MMM $1000, Turf Tires and set of bar tires $750, PHD $500, Ballast box $100. I was thinking the entire package deal but I think you are right; I over shot a little. ;-) ....

Art,
Thanks for the help on the tractor I am not sure of your ? about the blade. I think it attaches to the loader frame and has hydraulics to move side to side... for pushing snow exct.. you don’t have to get off and move the blade.. Very new to this and this will be my first tractor want get the one that fits.. not sure ... Thanks Wade

Chief,
Thanks for the help yes it is a 4wd with Hydro.. and it is in very good shape. I am not sure about the front end.. that is something i will have to research.. If i were to buy this all new i think it would be costly.. Is this a deal or are there better ones out there... thanks Wade ....

If this tractor has the axle in question; not such a good deal. Art is the one with the most buying and selling experience. He could probably give you a good answer but I will take a stab at it. First off, why is the tractor being sold? Find out the service/repair history. If it has a bad history of repairs, I would walk away or drop way down on price; especially if the repairs were very recent. As you say, this tractor and equipment is in very good condition; if you can make an offer somewhere between $15,000 and the asking price (more towards the lower end) might be a good deal if the owner is willing to haggle on price. Have you compared the cost of the same equipment new? That should give you an idea as to value of used vs. new. ....
