I was amazed to see all the CUT'S that were used by the Fort Lauderdale road working crews when we were down there last week. I'm guessin they are easier to manuver around the many palm tree's they have linning the roadway's. They had a ton of Tc 30's and several 4310's for most of all there road side work.Only seen one large unit that they used for mowing the sides of imbankments, It had one of the cutters on an arm that could be extended over fenceing as well as cleaning the sides of road way tree's as far as 10 to 15 feet up . It was a New Holland. Here in MO don't see many CUT'S being useds by road crew's.

I grew up in central MO and I remember some sort of tractor that they were using that was smaller than our normal agricultural tractors. I honestly don't remember the type, but it was bigger than a Ford 8N. Anyway, they are quite maneuverable and from what I remember they probably had a low CG.

The road department painted everything yellow, so the color of the tractor would not matter. ....
