I'm in the process of looking real serious at acquiring
something similiar to Kubota's BX22 (which supply is none existant)

I came across the Cub 7264 & 7254 and appear competively priced and available now. On the 7264 the price was $19,830
and included FEL and Back Hoe. Ind. tires, Standard Bucket size as well.
The 7254 was $18,513 with the same options(FEL & B/H)...
For me based on Long Island, NY going to CT to buy seems
like the best option (no tax)

Kubota hit it good with the BX22, nobody offers anything like it for the price. I hope they do soon!!

I wrote that post not that long ago..A lots changed since then..
I found a real nice JD 4100 with just a few hours on it, a day after I wrote that post. The nearest Cub dealer who handled the CUT line was a state away ( Connecticut- I'm based on Long Island) not really ideal situation for service issues. Anyway I'm happy my search is over.... ....

Glad you found something you can enjoy. The BX's as well as all Kubota products, have made us go thru what we call brown out as they seem to get short every summer but they do go by sold orders. Good luck on yor new purchase! ....

Hi Art,

You must be having a great year selling Kubota's because the closet I have been to a BX series or anything close to one is via web site or spec sheet. Nobody can keep them in stock, even the other models close in size or bigger.
The nearest dealer to me would be in CT, and I wanted to see them but NONE in stock...damn thats something !! speaks volumes on how good they are !! the dealer was actually mad at the short supply (dont blame them). I wouldnt be suprised that its a bidding war for the limited supply...
Even though I didnt buy my JD 4100 directly from my dealer (even thought it was from them originally) they had all the models on display which help a lot on choices and decisions.
If I was Kubota you do your best to meet the demand now. The demand cylce could change at anytime.

....

I tell people that if they are willing to sign they can have the first in. It has been about a two to three week wait which isn't to bad when you figure you are getting the number 1 compact tractor in the country. We have not ordered any for stock lately as we are diligently waiting to see the new ones! ....
