I own a 154 cub low boy with the 62 inch mower deckon it and have never had any problems accept a carburrator leak, and a replaced clutch kit for the PTO but its all in perfect condition. ive put new head lights, new battery, new throttle cable, and am in the process of degreasing and cleaning and painting all origonal colors. But i just have the question of how much may this be worth ??? and im not sure of the year but im guessing mid 70s...

To a couple of friends that have one the answer is infinite. If it has the PTO and is a later tractor with the mid mount mower, I would think at least 5K when painted.
The Cub which is the same tractor runs from 1.5-3.5K depending on the condition. A later Lowboy is worth at least this. ....

If it has three point hitch it is worth more. We have sold several over the past years and a standard tractor with deck will bring 2000. A real clean standard issue with bright paint will fetch 2500 and with some options like a front blade and deck will bring 3000. Add the three point and you are into the 3500 range plus depending on condition. ....

I bought a 184 similar except for the brakes for 1200 and sold it for 1500. It was in good condition and ran perfect. Of course, in my area, there aren't too many people that are interested in paying that much. I have seen them go for 1000 to 1500 at auctions. Never more than 1800. ....

Check out the right handside of the steering gear housing area. I believe the serial number will be located in this area. Feed back the s/n and we can help you better identify the age as well as its potential worth.
