Need help...Looked at used JD4300 with 430 loader and 72" mid mount mower. 212 hours. Believe it is a year 2000. Anyone give me an accurate estimate of what it is worth? Also, I was told that I could put a backhoe on it and leave the midmount attached. Is that true or will it damage the tractor?
Thanks for any info,

Reishorse, I have an identical outfit except for the mid mount mower, mine has about 300 hrs. on it. It's been a real good machine. I really don't keep up on used prices well enough to give you an estimate of it's worth, but I do think they hold their value quite well. I can't think of any reason why having the mid mount mower on while using the hoe would damage the tractor. I would be more concerned about damaging the mower deck while backfilling etc. by jaming mud, rocks, etc. up under the deck ....

I just drove a 2000 4300 with 600 hours on it. It had the 420 loader, but didn't have the mmm. They are asking $13,500 for it. By the way, this machine has the power reverser transmission. I think that's what it's called anyway.

Correction. The 4300 I just mentioned had the 430 loader, not the 420. ....

They want $16800.00 for the one I looked at. It sounds like a fair price, but just need to check it out further.
Thanx ....

Looks like you will be saving around $4000-4500 over new price. I priced one (4310) out a month ago equipped with FEL and MMM and it came in around $21,300. Well worth the savings as long as it has been serviced properly. ....
