I have been looking for a small tractor for some time. I have recently came across a used Kubota L2350 with 148hours and several implements including; Harrows, box blade, rotary cutter, boom, bottom plow, and trailer, all in good condition except trailer which is in poor condition. The seller is asking $7500 for everything. Is this a fair or good price??

The tractors tach. does not work, could this throw off the hour meter??

Yes, the tach is drive is hooked into the hour meter on most tractors whether it is cable drive or electronic. Look at tire wear. First determine if it has original tires. The amount of hours stated should only show a very slight wear. Tires should last a minimum of 1000 hours before extreme wear. The price is right though even for more hours. Up to 800 hrs or so I'd say would be a good price. ....

Often if the needle isn't moving the hours won't either. Go a little further and see if it will click up on the hours. If that is still working than the needle part is all that is broke and the hours are correct. ....

Steven,
I purchased a L2350 4wd with 550 hrs for $6500.00. This included a 6 ft. finish mower. It was a 1994 model. The dealer allowed me to drive the tractor and operate the mower in his field, then I checked for any oil/coolant leaks. I also checked the machnerylink.com web site for used tractor prices. ....
