I own a Deutz-Allis 5215 with 460 hrs on it and FWD. I want a hydro and power steering!
I have the oppotunity to trade it for an identical tractor that has hydro and power steering and FEL, but it has 900 hrs on it! .
While shopping around I came across a 2001 TC25D with FEL and 150 hrs. The dealer says he'll give it to me for $13,500.00 and trade mine in for $6000. leaving me with a balance of $7500.00. If it was a TC24D I would jump all over it, the TC25D is just a little bigger than what i wanted actually i think it's overkill. I only have 3.5 acres but believe me i will get LOTS of use out of that FEL
Should 900 hours scare me away considering the tractor is 1987.

900 hours on a diesel tractor is about 10% of its life I think on average depending on its service. I bought a 1725 NH Boomer, made in 1998 with 800 hrs on it and it looks like new.You won't be sorry with a little bigger tractor and yes you will love the loader. ....
