Would like to trade Ag tires and rims for Turf tires and rims for Ford 1710. My tires have 400 hours on them and are like new. Rear turf size is 13.6 x 16, Front size is 23x8.50-12.Im in the North Texas area on the Okla.border.

My 1710 4wd has factory turfs. The fronts are 15" rather than 12" tires. Both are listed in the owner's manual and the 15" tires have higher load ratings. The repair manual also lists a 14" tire. I don't know if the 12" tires are intended for 4wd tractors but that might be good to find out.
I noticed that my repair manual refers to front tires as either 'F' or 'G' type tires while the rears are referred to with the familiar R codes. I wonder if R originally meant rear rather than identifying a tread type as it's used now.
