Will be moving 50 yards of topsoil next week. Small yard, new privacy fence around in ground pool install. Slight slope involved. Will be tight manuvering. Slow going. Will I need my box blade for balast?? 4wd non filled tires. R4's.
THANKS for any help!

I leave an implement on (usually the box) when ever I'm doing loader work. The tractor gets nose tippy and the steering is heavy without it--especially with unloaded tires or wheel weights. Tire weight make a tractor less likely to kiss the ground but don't lighten the steering.
I'd use ballast, but then depending on exactly what's being done, I'd probably be moving soil around more with the box than the loader. ....

Soil to be dumped by trucks outside double fence gate (my access). I will move it around to the other side of a "n" shaped yard, pool in the middle. Slope has the rear of the property the highest. Why the box??? Larger capacity?
Never considered it........ hmmmmm ....

Back filling over compacted subsoil after in ground pool install. 2-4" of crushed clay pretty much the whole yard that's not pool, to seed.
