4x4 w/67 FEL, 1400 hours .They are asking $8750. Seems high. Year is unknown. He said he thought early nineties, I thought they only made them in the 80s. Its in Ohio now but came up from Florida. Repainted but BAD pitting in the metal under the paint. #CHO750S019976. Fenders rusted through near axel on rear.(around bolt holes). Turf tires (13-6-16)with lots of tread but CRacked and weathered. Hydrolic lines are pretty worn on FEL will probably burst soon. Brand NEW SEAT!! Should I run from this or are most tractors this age this tired? Runs great and seems mechanically sound. What year is this? What will new tires cost ? hoses?

Came up from Florida? Turf tires? I'm seeing a couple of flags here, but it could be nothing. I'm thinking it might have been a landscaper's rig, which would have see a lot of use. On the other hand, 1400 hours is not a significant amount of time. None of the problems you mention are major. I bought a 67 loader that CAME with ratty looking hoses (weather and sun damage, outer rubber torn/missing, braid exposed) and figured I'd run it until it blew a hose. That was 8 years ago...

Price is about right for New England, dunno about your area. You could use your punchlist of problems to try to beat the feller down some. The 50 series tractors have an excellent reputation for ruggedness and reliability. ....

Ooops. Thought I read that it had a backhoe on it too. In that case, you're right, the price is a little high. I'm thinking $7000 would be a lot closer. My local JD dealer offered me $5000 for my '88 with a 67 loader and 2500 hours. I laughed right in his face. ....

Thanks for the feedback. I called on a '85 JD 750 4WD today. AG tires ,1300hrs NO attachments, NO FEL, $6500. Sounds like a better deal than the 750 withFEL for $8750. What do you all think? Also Will this have enough power for a 6 ft FINISH mower? ....

Yeah, I'm thinking that's a better deal. Loaders are REAL nice to have (I'll never be without one again) and I had a heck of a time finding my 67 which I bought in '92, but there are aftermarkets, I'm pretty sure.

The 6 foot finish mower may be a little iffy, but I run a 5' rotary (bush hog) on mine no problem, so you may be all right as long as you don't get into too much grass with it. ....
