Anyone know of/suugest a PTO driven backhoe that will fit/work on a Case 235 (~19hp, 3pt hitch, PTO, but no hydraulic connections)?

It would be good to read about possible damage to tractors from 3ph mounted hoes. I have a 6' Kelly 3ph hoe on my 24 pto hp tractor. A smaller hoe may be better for the smaller Case.

I guess by pto hoe the meaning is a hydraulic one driven by a pto pump. There are plenty of pumps and hoes for CAT I 3ph's around. However, I wouldn't give up on using the tractor's hydraulics. Most tractors with a 3ph have a way of hooking up a system to drive auxiliary hydraulic devices. However, the size of the tractor pump may make operation of a hoe unacceptably slow. My pump is rated at 8-gpm and I wouldn't want my hoe to work much slower.

I think your tractor probably has enough capacity to run a hoe with the tractor hydraulics. The Kelly B600 would be a good choice. Kelley is coming out with a smaller hoe soon. I'm giving 20% discount on Kelley products. sheaftractor@coiinc.com ....
