can anyone rate the kubota l4310 dt. after alot of searching and testing it seems like a great machine for the money. most other compacts do not offer 37.5 pto hp. any info would be appreciated. also anyone using delvac 1 or delo 400 synthetic oil in their machines? i also heard that japanese diesels require an oil with a rating that is not exactly ch-4 or whatever, there seems to be some confusion on that one, at least for me. thanks

Greg, I have also been looking at the L4310 4wd HST with a 690 loader + other toys. The only question I have is why didn't Kubota include a mid PTO option and should I care. Other than a mid deck mower, is the mid PTO used for any other implements? They offer the mid PTO on the L3710 which is on the same chassis. FYI// The last quote I recieved was $22000.00 for a L4310 4wd HST with 3 spool hydraulics. The Kubota loader was $4000.00. Seems to be reasonable or at least consistant with other sources. Prices were in the Sacramento CA area. Most of the ranchers and orchard growers in my area are recomending Kubota over JD in the sub 50hp machines but the consensus seems to be they are both great machines. One consistent piece of advice is pick the best dealer, you will be happy with either machine. -RM ....

Just a comment from the Mid-South, I was priced an L4310 in 2 wheel driveand FST trans today for 13,500. This was the dealers first out of the book price, so I'm thinking he might go a little lower. Also was priced an L3010 in 2wd and FST for 11,700 first price. I was interested in the L3010 until the dealer priced the L4310. Now I'm not sure which one to get, if either. The 3415 NH also is appealing to me. I plan to use my tractor for some row crop applications, the Kubota's don't widen to two row and the NH does.Just some ramblings. ....
