Comparing the Ingersoll 4000 & 6000 series with front end bucket & P/Steer. to Kubota. Price is better on the ingersoll, weight is close and frame width also. Ingersoll seems to have agood machine, but I 'm hesitant on acting as I had trouble with an old wheelhorse D250, 3 years ago and dont want to repeat it. Need it to mow 2 Ac of large and small area, plow 700 ft drive, landscape, drainage and sprinkler for next 6-9 months till I finish building. then just maintenance and mowing. log splitter looks good on ingersoll also. Anyone looking at these two tractors?

I have a friend who runs an old case (now ingersol) and loves it but for that it's old. I considered an ingersol but plan to do a lot of dirt work, plowing and discing for my small table greens business. I bought a Massey 1215 4WD, GST, and went to work. As I found with my pickup trucks, 4WD is adictive. If you won't be in rough ground with your loader work then you may not notice it but in soft or choppy ground the front wheels help rather than hinder when they can pull. Maybe you should save up your post construction work and rent a 4WD for a weekend and then use the Ingersol for everything else. ....
