I would like some suggestions on a second mower. My front lawn (3/4 ac.) has St. Aug. grass and is cut at 4" It has alot of landscaping features and my JD670 is to big for this area. Does anyone have any suggestions for a smaller mower which can bag. I have looked at a toro z- track, nice but a bit pricey for a second mower. Any other ideas?David

David, my second mower is a JD LT155. I just love the thing. It has HST foot pedal control and a 42" mulching deck. It does a great job for me on 1.5 acres. The 42" mulching deck allows me to get close to trees and other obstacles and there is no need for bagging if you mow on a regular basis. I mow my lawn at 3 inches but the height setting on the deck is very easy with a dial-n-go type adjustment. The price of the LT155 is around $2400 new. I am not familiar with St. Augustine grass and that may be a consideration with a mulching deck. ....
