Another Synthetic Oil Question

I am coming up on the scheduled 300 hr. hydraulic oil change for my TC 33D. I am thinking of going with synthetic oil to try and alleviate the cold weather squealing and general sluggishness, also to maybe help with hydrostatic transmission smoothness.Has anyone done this and has it helped? How long have you been using it and have you had any problems? Leaking seals is the only bad scenario I've heard people talk about.What type if any would you recommend? Thanks all!
