MO I have a JD 990 MFWD and it is a very good tractor. I have the R-4 tires and they are loaded also have 350 lbs of weight on the front.I use this tractor for brush hogging some rough and steep slopes.I only have about 44 hours on it so far almost all have been a pto rpm.I also do some blade work with it.Mine only has rear pto.I think that is all you can get on the 990.All in all it is a lot of tractor for the money.I would buy another one.BILL

Roger:I was over past my dealer the other day and he had just gotten another 990 in.That is the first one he has had besides the one I bought in July. There is another Dealer about 30 miles from me and he tries to keep 1 or 2 on his lot.And I agree with you all the 90 series tractors are a lot of tractor for the money.I think you don't hear a lot about them because they just quietly go about doing there jobs without any trouble.
