Just took delivery of a 4300 JD with the 420 loader. Checked over everthing and found that the loader hydraulic lines rub on the right front tire during a hard right turn. Has anyone here had this problem and how did you solve it?Thanks, Scott Seaborne

Haven't had that exact problem, but plastic tie straps are pretty good for holding hydraulic lines in place. Putting short various coloured ties around male line fittings also is pretty good for disconnected lines back of the right outlets. ....

I had the same problem with a 4300 I owned. Its because the hoses are coming out of the connector toward the front of the tractor. You need to have 90 degree connectors put on there so that the hoses come up vertical, thats the only thing that will fix it permanently. I don't know why JD doesn't just do that to begin with. ....

Mike, I do have the 90 degree connectors! It came from the factory that way. Despite my "lucky break" the loader hydraulic lines have a generous loop that hangs downward. The weight of the lines causes the loop to hang straight down in the same plane as the hydraulic lines mounted to the tractor. The 90 degree connecters swivel easily so they usually point down rather than toward the engine cowl. I expect I will have to install a plastic tie strap or some type tubular guide along the right side frame below the engine. ....

Scott, I have the same problem, but to a minor degree -- I have a black netting around the hoses with a tyrap to the frame of the loader(I think). I pulled the lines, and netting back, and put a second tyrap on which seems to be holding. Not very scientific, but the only other way I could see to fix it is to shorten the hoses, and I sure didn't want to get into that! ....

I had the same problem. All I did was to rotate the 90 degree fittings 180 degrees so that they faced upwards and then strapped the four hoses with a heavy duty wire tie to a hole towards the top of the loader bracket. I haven't had any problems since! ....
