i am looking to purchase an 825 belarus with a front end loader. is there anything i need to look out for? it will be used as a chore tractor moving big bales around and feeding cattle in the winter and some light duty tillage and seeding etc in the summer. i plan to carry two 1200 lbs round bales on the rear three point and maybe one bale on the front. a question about gearing and shifting as i will be traveling from farm to farm feeding. is the top gear fairly fast? are the shifts between gears smooth etc? how is the speed of the hydraulics? Thanks

Well I have an 825. My loader isn’t set up with a joy stick hydraulics. If you’re going to be using the loader a lot make sure you have one that has a joystick. The hydraulics aren’t fast at all. Top speed is provably about 25 I would guess. It’s not a smooth shifter at speed. You have to grind it in lol. As far as tilling you could do a 10’ cultivator if the soil isn’t compacted. ....
