I finally got the bushhog off of my JD4400 (87 hours of use)and was able to put my new 6ft model 45 scraper blade on,I was amazed at how well it cut the dirt and rolled it off to one side,I am making a road through my woods on a hillside. It exceeded my expectations of what I could do with it,I was suprised how much dirt it would move.It will make it nice to get to the firewood and load those whitetail deer on that JD4400 and haul them to the house.

I have a JD4300 and have just started to look for a rear blade. Could you tell me how much your dealer charged for the 6 ft. JD45 blade? Thanks for your help. ....

I have this blade on a 4200 and it works well. Do note that it does not
have a replaceable cutting edge. This will probably never be an issue for me,
but might be for someone else.
I originally ordered a bushhog blade that had a tilt and offset feature. What
I didn't realize is that these features pushed the 3point pins up so high that
I could hardly lift it off the ground. My dealer agreed to keep it and sell me the 45 blade to get me out of trouble.
