I am interested in purchasing a snowblower for my B-2100. I found a nice unit made by a company in Canada called Pronovost. Has anyone out there used one or knows anything about them? They seem well made and the price is not bad about $1200 plus tax for a 64 inch wide model. Any comments would be appreciated.

Haven't heard of that one. Mine is a Canadian made 'Meteor. ' Large welding shops that serve regional markets and do little marketing probably make both blowers. It's likely that few people, except dealers in an area, have heard the names. My dealer came up with the one I have, and it worked just fine last winter.
The PTO shaft and other running gear from this type of equipment tends to be standard OEM catalogue items, so parts should be available. I might have a parts problem if I bent an auger or something, but the initial price was pretty good. I'm happy enough.

Pronovost advertises in a trade Mag called Turf Magazine that caters to the Golf and sports commercial landscape professionals. I have read some reviews on their stuff that are very favorable. They have been in business for some time also, so parts should be available in the future. One thing they were known for was a PTO rear blower that could be driven either forward or backward, don't know if they are still doing that though. ....

Pronovost is one of the better snowblowers on the market. They have been in buisness for years and build some very detailed blowers. When and if you need parts later they have been good. There are many small fab shops that have built many types of machinery but unfortunatly many of them have past on to different things leaving no backup for owners of there machines. Good Luck. ....
