I am looking at a 1997 L2900 GST 4x4 with 385 hours, roof, lights, good tires, excellent condition (almost showroom) with very good maintenance records. Includes: Woods 9000 backhoe with 12" and 24" buckets, LA480 loader, pallet forks and a 5 ft. brush hog. Asking price is $26,500.It is a very well maintained machine, but is it worth this much? Thank's for any help!!!

I was just looking at a 1997 L2900, 4 speed manual trans w/Hi/lo, w/woods FEL and backhoe (don't know model #). It has 1400 hrs and is in good condition.
He is/was asking $17,500 and has been for sale for 2 months. I'm in Central NJ. It has 2 problems that I noticed (the seller may or may not be aware of these problems). The 3rd gear synchro is shot and the engine oil is at least one qt. overfilled. Don't know if the extra oil could be coming from a bad seal in the hydraulic pumps. ....
