My poor old Pappy bought a Shibaura SD1400A-O at an estate auction this past winter and he was so excited about good weather so he could get it out and plow his little garden only to find out that he had been duped. This tractor has a spent pinion shaft and we do not have a clue where to get another one. We have made several several phone calls with no luck. Does anybody have any suggestions besides the ones we have got so far which are "Sell it for scrap metal" and "Push it in the pond for a fish house". It's kind of sad because this is the first tractor that he has ever been able to afford and it turns out to be a piece of crap. He's too old to run his tiller and too proud to ask anyone to help him. I sure hope someone can give me some ideas so my Pappy can still plant his famous red tomatoes. Thank you guys. ....

My ring and pinion fried also.
I can't seem to find also.
