Just got truck back from garage with all 6 cyls. firing. I want to thank Baby Farmer[yes I did use an impact wrench], Jerry Goucher, Steve S, and Rowski. Tried all your suggestions but not having acetylene torch made it impossible to do at home. Tools were high quality,[Craftsman.Snap-On etc.] but my workmanship was not. End result was $120 to fix something that was'nt broke. Odd thing , that just happened to be the amount of change I'd saved to have some work done on a 22 target rifle. Anybody else ever notice that when you save for something you want, bad things will happen and cause you to spend the money elsewhere. Maybe I'll postulate a theory on that. Anyway, thanks . Dave in Vt.

Dave,
I think the IRS already beat you to that postulate, it's the first thing they tell you during an audit. ....

Kim. About that word "postulate". Lets change it to "formulate" and say no more about it. If my ex-teacher wife finds that post she will insist on reviewing any any future literary efforts of mine. ....
