I recently purchased a duplex with a long driveway. I also live outside BUFFALO, NY. That means I need an efficient method of removing snow. I do not want to use a plow because I am limited to where I can place the snow and I dont want to damage the driveway. The solution seems to be a compact tractor with a snow blower.I am researching models of dependable used compact tractors, able to drive a 4-6ft. wide blower, priced between $3,000 & $5,000, and preferably gas powered. I am also concerned with parts availability, and dont want an antique (older than 30-35 yrs.). Thank you.

you may have to come up in price if you expect to get a "compact" tractor and snow blower. If snow is your only concern I would buy a LARGE garden tractor 18-20 hp.I'm north of the city of syracuse @15 miles so I can sympathize with you on the snow problem. I have no difficulties with my 425 deere and 4ft. snowblower , with weights and chains it makes short work of a 2ft snow fall. ....
