L4330 vs L4630

I noticed the L4330 and L4630 have the exact same engine and displacement, yet the L4630 has higher rated horsepower in all categories.

Is this a marketing trick or is there something else different that makes the 4630 capable of producing more power?

HP for the two is at different RPM, 2600 vs. 2700. There well could be internal engine differences also. Of course the PTO drive train would be optimized for the engine RPM.

Differences in the fuel system could easily account for the hp difference between the two engines. ....

There are a number of things that would affect the HP rating such as cam grind and advance setting, injectors and injection pump all using the same block. The specifications don't give enough info to guess where the difference is. ....

i like the stats on the 4330 better pto is 540 at 2440 vs 2640 on hst. i beleive the 4330 is a better tractor and you won't find any diff in using both engines are rated 146.2ft/lb torque. ....
