I know all tractors have good points and bad points, but generally are Yanmar tractors (25-35 HP range) reliable? Pricing seems favorable, I have some concern about parts..Do JD dealers work on them since there is not a Yanmar dealer close? I will be mowing about 8 acres of pasture and have a 1000 ft dirt road to maintain for personal use.

My local JD dealer will work on any tractor you bring him. $55.00 an hour is the same whether it's a JD or any other tractor. Besides, a JD is just a Yanmar in camouflage with U.S. spec's.
