Is it a good idea to try to get as much oil out of the tractor loader circuit when changing hydro-static fluids?
If so what is the method to do so?

Perhaps you are over thinking it. I have changed fluids both with the loader on and off and I do not see the need to do anything special. Hopefully I did not screw up ;-(.
Some people like to fill their oil filter cartridges before they install them, never did that either.
If you are worried just detach the quick connects after releasing the pressure in the circuit.
Best of luck ! ....

Raise the loader and curl the bucket up. Drain the hydro fluid. With the drain plug still out, drop the loader (via gravity). When nearly down, halt the drop and curl the bucket down (gravity again). Finish dropping the loader. You've now removed as much of the hydro fluid as you can without doing full disassembly of the hoses. ....

No idea where I have read the simple instruction to retract all cylinders possible. That pushed the oil from cylinder back to the transmission or tank as the case maybe. If you were to remove the front end loader how would you change the oil in it? You want to change as much of the oil as you can when you do change it. ....

Thanks for all the input, but no one really said if was worth the effort. My loader was detached so I just changed the fluids with it off. The fluid looked real clean when I drained it so I doubt it matters. ....
