Price that I have got on the 4500 w/pwr rev & loader was 20,500....price on the4600 for the same was 22,000 both prices were given without any further discusions..i am having trouble making the choice because the dealer offered mea great deal on a 4300 w/ 10 hrs folding rops mid pto 430 loader delivered for17,500 thats a synce by the way thinking of going to the 4500 for the extraweight and the pwr rev which i have used in the past and enjoy if you are confused about the three i can tell you this much the hydro is by far the easiestto operate at least that is what i have been told i've only test drove them anddon't really care for it you also lose a little hp with it the next easiest is the pwr/rev which requires the clutch to change gears and uses a blinker type controlfor forward and reverse without any clutch and lastly i believe the synce rev actslike a pwr/rev with the exception that a half clutch press is required to go from forward to rev as far as what is better well that depends on you farmers go with strictly standards due to the ease and cost of repairs (harder it is worked the more breakdowns there are) those that do lots of loader work stick with at leasta pwr/rev and most recomend the hydro hope this helps ....

thanks that explains a bunch, im familiar with the power reverser on a ford backhoe 555b, we had a 90 model with less than 200 hours, went through 3 reversers bfore we sold it, the ford dealer kept replacing it free after the first time but they never figured out what was wrong. thats the only thing that worries me about the jd powerreverser. when it worked,on the ford, it was nice so im going to try to find out more on it by the the end of the month. im sure jd's reverser isnt the same but would like to know more. im going to buy by the end of the month ,im going to see if i can get the 4600power, 4x4, with loader around 20k, ill post results thanks ....
