I am in the process of purchasing a Ford New Holland 1715. I'm told it is a '97 model, has an FEL, a synchro 12/3 transmission, deluxe 3PH and has 450 hours on it. In your educated opinions, what would be a fair price for this unit?
Thanks,
Randy G.

Machinerylink (see link below) gives a range of 7900-9100 depending on condition for the tractor only. I'd guess $1500-2000 for the loader. I noticed the model year only goes to 1996 for the New Holland/Ford 1715; don't know if that is right or not.

Thanks for the heads up on the year. I went to the dealer this morning to finalize the sale and challenged the salesman on the year. He went and got his book, and sure enough, it's a '96. Probably an honest mistake on the dealers part as they have a good reputation. Anyway I picked the unit for $10,500 which includes changing all the fluids and filters and a 6 month warranty. He started at $11,900 and I started at 9,500 so it was a compromise ....
