I have a new holland TC29 and I am having trouble with my loader. I can lift up pretty good, but when I try to lower the bucket slowly, it drops 2-3 times faster then it is suppose to. I have had this tractor for 4 years and never had this problem before. Any advice you can give me?

sounds like there is air in your lines as air pockets will push the fluid to raise the bucket but when you lower the bucket the air pockets allow bucket to drop intervals probably 3 to 4 inches at a time! ....

While I'm not very familiar with those particular units, it certainly sounds like the metering valve has backed off.
Check the manual for your loader on instructions for adjusting it. Usually it looks like a bolt with no head, just a screwdriver slot, and a jamb nut locking it in position, and part of the loader control valve.
You might start by looking for a jamb nut that's visibly loose or only finger tight.
Best of luck. ....
