my tc 29 new holland will not start i have checked all the fuses and they are good. the battery is good also, all the lights come on but when i turn the switch i only hear a click sound. i think it could be the starter but how do i know for sure?

If it is a clicking sound rather than just a single click it could be the starter solenoid trying to pull into the flywheel. On the simple side that could be caused by corroded connections, weak battery, or a sticking or bad solenoid..... ....

i have checked the battery and all is good there but i am not sure about the starter. i did however try to get it to engage the starter by turning the switch and moving the pto. i am looking to see if maybe it could be a safety thiong?
