Massy to the best of my knowledge never built a skid steer. I can't tell you of the manufacturer by model but can by year. ....

I cannot find a identifacition plate on the Machine ,But I have a Massey Ferguson 811 skid steer parts book. The machine looks identiale except the 811 is Diesle and mine is 4 cyl Wisconsin gas. The machine was made for Ferguson by a company that is out of buisiness. New parts are not available. Am looking for used parts or a lead on parts. ....

Any good hydraulic seal and gasket supplier should have what you need. I got proices to rebuild 25 year old backhoe cylinders and was told $350 and up each! I decided to take them apart and couldn't believe how simple it was to do it myself, not to mention the low cost. It cost less than $24 for three cylinders! Best thing to do is remove the gland/nut pull the piston rod out, put it in a vise and remove the nut that holds the piston. Take the piston--seals and all--to the seal supplier and they will help you remove them in the proper order, and maybe give you advice on upgrades to the seals etc. ....

There was a 711 skid-steer, as well as various others. Massey sold the industrial equipment business, at least in part, to Fermec in England, so they may have been built by Fermec. In South America, it became Maxion. ....
