lever moves, I have tried it in gear,out of gear,no response of 4x4 ....

Best thing to do is call a Massey -Ferguson dealer and ask them if you don't have a manual,if no manual you need one. best money is spent on a tractor manual. You may find one on ebay or amazon,I would try both. to get a manula. ....
