I'm looking at building a CadPlans 608 digger (as CadPlans calls it). I was going to buid it from a MedKit complete kit with the super boom option. The questions I have are, Can anyone give me feedback on the this back hoe? And does the super boom make it really better? and the last question is about the MetKit. Was it a good kit? Thanks for the help.

I built a Cadplans 710 digger several years ago.
Worked real well for me but I don't know anything about the super boom.
I did not get the entire kit from Metkit, only the Hydraulic kit(Hydraulic cylinders, hoses, control valves, fittings, etc.), hardened pins and bushings.
What I did get from Metkit was good and they were pleasant to work with. ....

I recently built model 821, I got the super boom and I like it because you can dig deeper and do not have to move it as often, even tho it is real easy to move around.. I am very well satisfied with its performance Good Luck ....
