Anyon have an information on the new Kubota "BX" series? It is supposed to be in between the B seriescompacts and the G series garden tractors. Localdealer thought it might be 4wd and 4 wheel steerto compete with the honda 5518 mulitpurpose.

I'm Kubota dealer in Belgium. Today, I was invited by Kubota Europe for the introduction show of this tractor. It's a 22HP available (in Europe) in 2WD or 4WD with reel pto, reel 3 point CAT1 and power steering. I see this tractor with mid mount cutting deck, with a loader, with a front 3 point/pto. The name for Europe is BX2200. Compact like a JD455 but with reel 3point (sorry but I speek French). Be patient, it's a wonderful tractor ! ....

Sounds like a great tractor. We had a B5100 (not sure on the model) years ago for our lawn service that worked great. This new BX series sounds similar. I want one already. Keep us informed! ....

What's your tractor now ? We know the B5100 too, It was only a 2WD with 2 cylinders engine and mecanical transmission but so small...For the BX, next information that I can give you is some pictures ! But I'm not sure this is pleasant for Kubota of America. Let me think about. ....

Our tractor was a B5??? model. Must not be the 5100 as ours had 4 wheel drive, a gear transmission, and was around 12 HP if my memory serves me. We loved the tractor but ended up getting out of the business and getting 9-5 jobs. I have a wheelhorse garden tractor now but would love to move up to to this new BX if it's anything like our old tractor. The physical size of the B1700 is a bit bigger than I want and am hoping the new ones are a tad smaller. I do fine with my garden tractor but I really did like our old Kubota and Would jump at the chance to get another one. The smaller size is great around the house and allows me to put it in the garage and still keep a small car in there too! Keep us informed on any news, and pictures would be great! ....
